Culminating from the duo-inspired ethos of “minimum members, maximum sound,” Los Angeles’ The Haunts is a band born out of the goal of stripping down garage rock from its simple beginnings to an even rawer, reverb-soaked sound. With the trifecta of drummer Alanna Swadlow’s precise, electric style, guitarist Aaron Brotman’s punk meets surf fusion, and the final component of vocalist Max Collier’s smooth croon, The Haunts continue to spread their brand of surfy garage rock to the West Coast and beyond.
